The Everyman Theatre has announced a new and exciting summer programme of outdoor shows. Like all businesses over the past 15 months, The Victorian Quarter historic venue has struggled with Covid-19 guidelines that have kept the doors closed. However, those behind the curtain have been coming up with fun and innovative ways to keep the shows going. From live-stream to on-demand shows, The Everyman reinvented itself for the modern times. And now, as summer is heating up, they are bringing the performances out to the people.
From The Everyman Theatre:
“We are thrilled to announce our summer programme of live outdoor events: The Everyman Outdoors at Elizabeth Fort. Over the past year, The Everyman has showed its ability to adapt to these challenging and ever-changing times. After taking you on an amazing digital journey, we are now about to embark on our next and exciting adventure by bringing you to Elizabeth Fort, Barrack Street, Cork, for a series of live outdoor shows that will suit all tastes. From Laura O’Mahony to Bosco, The Everyman Sunday Songbook to Tadhg Hickey, the programme has something for the whole family to enjoy, al fresco.”
The programme runs from July 23rd through August 22, 2021 with tickets starting from €10. For a complete show listing and more details, visit The Everyman’s website.
